In its early years, the staff of the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago shared a sense of community.  This spirit of cooperation continued decades later when seven retirees began discussing the possibility of a club.  These conversations culminated in the official formation of the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago Retirees Club on Friday 12 September 2003.  Thanks to their initiative and vision, these seven people are now recognized as the club's founders.
