Throughout the world, Trinidad and Tobago is known as a melting pot of diverse cultures. Reflective of the wider society, we have, here in the bank, exponents of the various art forms that constitute our indigenous culture. In the art of African folk-dancing, we are truly well represented by Marcia Lewis.
When one thinks of vigour, energy and enthusiasm, one need only to recall Marcia’s dancing in our Calypso Contest or that exquisite piece “La Belle” in our Staff in Concert, indeed, the girl got verve.
For her contributions to our cultural sphere of life Marcia Lewis is nominated for an award in the category “most significant contribution in the sphere of Dance”
